National Geographic London Store shortlisted for “Store Design of the Year” in the Oracle Retail Weeks Awards 2010.
We are pleased to announce that The National Geographic London Store has been shortlisted for Store Design of the Year in the Oracle Retail Week Awards 2010, the biggest awards in retail and remain a highlight in the UK retail calendar, recognising the success and achievements of the very best in British retail. Despite the challenging business climate, the retail industry has many inspirational retailers who continue to strive for excellence and spearhead innovation, creativity and value to their customers. The awards play a vital role in acknowledging and celebrating this success, as well as providing a benchmark for the industry to develop and grow. Retail Week will announce the 2010 winners in March. We will of course let you know how we fare. As you all remember, during the past two years The National Geographic Stores have won the following international Awards: • “Best Licensed Store” – License! Global's Best of 2008 • “Best Retail Destination Store” – UK Retail Interiors Awards 2009 • “Best New Entrant of the Year 2009” – Singapore Retailers Association Awards 2009 Nominations · National Geographic London Store shortlisted by the Retail Week Technology Awards 2010 in the“Customer Technology” category. · National Geographic London Store shortlisted by the Oracle Retail Weeks Awards 2010 in the “Store Design of the Year” category. · National Geographic London Store shortlisted by the World Retail Awards 2010 in the “Best Retail Innovation of the Year” category. Moreover, the London Café was shortlisted as Best Retail Restaurant – UK Retail Interiors Awards 2009.
